About AFDR

The Association for Foodservice Distributor Representatives (AFDR) is a non-profit organization with the mission of increasing the sales success and professionalism of DSRs — also called Territory Manager (TM), Marketing Associate (MA) and other titles depending on the company.

AFDR was founded in 2006 by individual DSRs along with several key product manufacturers and other supporters.  Today, AFDR has more than 5,000 members from more than 500 distribution companies.

The average DSR generates $3.3 million in annual sales across 48 foodservice operators.  In total, AFDR members influence $17.2 billion in annual sales across 249,600 operators. Dave Miesse is the organization’s CEO.
