Mercy Chefs brings hope (and great food) in times of disaster.

The recent Alabama tornadoes are a reminder of how disasters can devastate entire communities. But Mercy Chefs quickly responds to help start the healing process by serving up restaurant quality meals that bring a sense of normalcy during times of chaos.

Mercy Chefs are fueled by chefs, cooks, DSRs, distributors and manufacturers. You too can help in the event a disaster hits near your home!

Mercy Chefs is a 501c3 founded in 2006 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The organization exists to provide professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers and first responders in natural disasters and national emergencies. They partner with existing ministries with food service in underserved communities around the country.

Join in making a difference in the lives of people affected by natural disasters, national emergencies and extreme poverty. Individuals, businesses and churches can each partner with Mercy Chefs in a variety of ways.

Mercy Chefs primarily work with local volunteers on each deployment and project. To join the volunteer team, follow the link to complete the registration form and the volunteer coordinator will be in contact with you when opportunities become available in your area.
